Eligibility requirements: Open to any dependent of a member of Carpenters Local #214 who is a graduating high school senior and will be attending (full time) an accredited institution or a student who is currently attending (full time) an accredited institution.

Deadline: Applications must be postmarked by March 31, 2011.

1. Write and attach a five-hundred (500) word essay (double-spaced and typed on regular white paper) on the topic "HOW WILL LOCAL 214 MEMBERS BENEFIT FROM THE NEW GOVERNMENT HEALTH PLAN?"
   
   
2. Include two letters of reference (employers, teachers, neighbors, friend of the family or someone who knows you well).
   
   
3. Complete this application form (click this link and print form) and return to the attention of the Scholarship Committee.
